All refurbished laptops sold by YourEssentials come with a warranty to give you peace of mind and confidence in your purchase.
1️⃣ Warranty Coverage
All our refurbished laptops include a standard warranty, starting from the date of delivery.
The warranty covers:
✔ Hardware faults
✔ Manufacturing defects
✔ Components failure under normal use
Each device is professionally tested, cleaned, and verified before dispatch.
2️⃣ What Is NOT Covered
The warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage (drops, liquid damage, cracked screens)

Damage caused by misuse or neglect

Cosmetic wear (scratches, marks, discoloration)

Battery degradation due to normal usage

Software issues caused by user-installed programs or updates

Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications
3️⃣ Batteries
Batteries are consumable components and are covered only if:

The battery is defective at the time of delivery

The issue is reported within 14 days of receiving the product
Normal battery wear over time is not considered a fault.

Depending on the issue, we may:

5️⃣ Shipping for Warranty Repairs

If the issue is confirmed as a warranty fault, return shipping costs will be covered by YourEssentials

If no fault is found or the issue is not covered, return shipping may be charged to the customer
6️⃣ EU & UK Consumer Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK and EU consumer protection laws.
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights.
7️⃣ Refurbished Products Disclaimer
Our products are refurbished, meaning they may show minor cosmetic signs of previous use.
These do not affect performance and are not considered defects.
